Auditions and Practice

It all begins after school on Monday, January 30th. Please gather by the office to walk together across to Southwest by 3:00. Auditions last until about 5 and practice for some kids start shortly after. Student actors can be picked up at Southwest by the flag pole on the west side of the building. This area is by the main office. The students can wait in the lobby to be picked up. See you then.

Permission Slips

Monday permission slips go out to Sibley students for Jack and the Beanstalk. Please note that auditions, all practice and performances will be at Southwest Middle School. Permission slips need to be turned in on Thursday, January 19 to Mrs. Bergene or outside Room 110. Just as in the past actors need to be at all practices. Excused absences would be illness, a medical appointment or church related activity. I'm excited to help again this year.

Jack and the Beanstalk

Prairie Fire Children's Theatre and Sibley School will present Jack and the Beanstalk on Friday, February 3rd and Saturday, February 4th. Because of space issues at Sibley, all auditions and practices will be at Southwest Middle School.  Auditions will be on Monday, January 30th in the SW Cafeteria.  The Southwest Cafeteria is located across the street from Sibley School.  After practices, parents will pick kids up by Southwest main entrance (flagpole) by the gym/theater lobby.  This year since Sibley does not have 6th graders, about sixteen Southwest sixth graders will have the chance to be in our production.
